It's more important than ever to exercise your creativity muscle.

It's more important than ever to exercise your creativity muscle.

In this day and age, we are constantly connected, yet somehow completely disconnected from ourselves. Everything moves fast. We scroll more than we sit and consume more than we create. Over time, we drift away from the habitual, intuitive creative practices we have valued for centuries.

But creativity is a muscle. And if we don’t use it, it weakens.

With AI accelerating production and reshaping how things are made, it’s easy to outsource imagination. It’s harder than ever to slow down and create something imperfect and human. That is exactly why this space exists, to reconnect us back to our ability to imagine, make and express.

This newsletter is an invitation to practice that muscle. To step away from passive consumption and return to active creation. To build something real in a world that feels increasingly synthetic.

If you’re here, maybe you feel it too, the desire to make something that actually belongs to you.

Let’s create.

Recently, I launched a print magazine with my friends called The Locale Creator. It’s a space dedicated to creative practices in all forms: art, writing, photography, design, music, anything that comes from someone’s hands and mind. The mission of The Locale Creator is simple: to influence people to get creative, to get inspired, and to actually make something.

This weekly newsletter exists for the same reason, and will be an extension of those values.

What to Expect:

You can expect: one newsletter every week featuring five different ways to get creative.

Each edition will include a curated list that might look like:

  • A hands on craft, DIY or creative project
  • An article to spark your artistic brain
  • A platform or tool that promotes creativity
  • Open creative events in New York
  • A museum exhibition worth seeing
  • A place to go when you need inspiration
  • A youtube channel, podcast, or artist to explore

Anything that falls into the category of creativity.

I’ll do the research, all you have to do is read the list and create.

Subscribers Will Receive:

  • The weekly “5 ways to get creative”
  • Access to all public posts
  • Occasional reflections on creativity and process
  • The opportunity to submit any work to The Locale Creator
  • Weekly updates on The Locale Creator
